Although essentially a private residence and workplace, Sítio do Cervo offers accommodation by arrangement to small groups of paying guests. Visitors share the peace and magic of the location, totally surrounded by forest, and bursting with biodiversity. It has become a recognised destination for birdwatching guides, and is also of interest to enthusiasts for tropical plants, amphibians, reptiles, butterflies and other invertebrates.
Sítio do Cervo can also be a base from which to explore a little-known region of Brazil, boasting numerous protected areas of primary forest, dramatic caves and estuaries teeming with dolphins.
Sítio do Cervo can be: a destination for birdwatchers, researchers or study groups; a peaceful retreat from which to write, work or meditate (with Wi-Fi access!); or a "chill-out zone" from a hectic work trip to Latin America, accessible to those with even very short stays in São Paulo.
